BLUE SKY PSYCHOTHERAPY

BLUE SKY PSYCHOTHERAPY

Welcome. My name is Isla Collinge. I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor having trained at one of the UK’s most prestigious institutions in London, though I live and work in the North East of England. I bring a relational approach to my practice, rooted in an integrative framework. This means that I draw from a variety of theoretical ideologies in order to support those who are struggling with a range of psychological difficulties.
With a compassionate perspective gained from my experience working in the charity sector, I am attuned to the diverse psychological concerns that we face in our lives. This may be depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, or grief. I create a safe and supportive space for clients to navigate and explore their experiences in order to gain better understanding, perspective and peace.

We all struggle with difficult times throughout our lives. Being able to access support and make sense of what is happening for us can provide immense relief as we try to navigate our way through these difficulties. If you would like to discuss the option of beginning therapy then please get in touch and I can offer you a no obligation initial assessment.
About me

I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor currently completing an MSC in Psychotherapy at one of the UK’s top establishments, The Metanoia Institute, as an Integrative Psychotherapist.
Drawing from my unique blend of experiences including my background as a veteran, I bring a deep understanding of diverse perspectives to my practice.
My training has allowed me to cultivate comprehensive skills set that allows me to help those that seek it. I specialise in working with trauma, survivors of sexual violence, bereavement, general anxiety and depression.

I am currently completing my Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy. I have completed a Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling alongside Level 2 and 3 CPCAB courses in counselling.
What does therapy entail?

I offer one-to-one online and phone sessions that will last 50 minutes. During these sessions we can use the time to explore whatever you would like, and we can adapt the sessions to align with your needs.

I combine a supportive, non-judgemental style with being appropriately challenging.
I help clients to gain insight into themselves and their relationships.

I work collaboratively to empower clients to gain a sense of agency over their lives and relationships.

My fees are £50 per session either online or in Person in the North East of England. I offer a free initial phone call to discuss your needs to ensure that we are able to work together. You can use this time to ask any questions that you may have about the therapy.
If this seems like it may be of interest then please feel free to get I touch via my contact form to discuss further.
